// for private clinics
Print the form, fill it in, bring it along.
Or fill it in on the phone, before the visit.
For physiotherapy, dental and other private clinics: booking without a phone call, a new-patient form filled in on the patient's phone before the visit, and a site that's up to date.

a new patient, start to finish
- The patient books onlinepicks a time, or asks for one, without calling
- They fill in their historyon their phone, before the visit; nothing to print
- It reaches your recordswhere your system accepts it; nobody retypes it
- A clinician reads it firstbefore the patient walks in

Where a new patient waits.
Booking means a phone call
On 9 of the 16, the way to book was to call, email or send an enquiry; one says "please telephone us ... to make an appointment". A patient looking in the evening has to wait until the phones open.
Medical history on paper
4 of the 16 asked new patients to print a medical-history form and bring it along; one says "download, print and complete our Confidential Medical History Form". The answers on paper still have to reach the records.
Out-of-date notices
6 of the 16 showed something dated or unfinished: "Covid-19 Revised Opening Hours", "Video Consultation available soon", a © 2019 footer. Small things, but they sit on the pages a new patient reads before deciding.
// what I'd do
Start with the new-patient form.

first
The new-patient form, off paper
Your medical-history and new-patient form rebuilt as a form patients fill in on their phone before the visit, sent to your records system where it accepts it, and stored and handled to a standard we agree in writing. One fixed price, agreed before I start.

then
Booking, and the site itself
Booking without a phone call: your practice system's own online booking set up properly on the site if it has one, a booking request that asks what reception asks if it doesn't. And if the site is out of date, a rebuild that's quick on a phone.
// what I've built
Sites I've rebuilt, open to look at.
- CityRoamerA Riga IT consultancy's site, first taken off a website builder whose certificate made browsers warn visitors away, then rebuilt as 14 pages that call no third-party services (measured 2 October 2026).see the case →
- DevgenomeA London IT, software and AI company: one page, then ten in July, then a 14-page site built around a 3D model of its own in September. No framework, no builder.see the case →
Clinics are new for me: both rebuilds here are for IT firms, so there's no clinic to show you yet. The first job is small and fixed so you can judge the work before anything bigger.
Tell me how a new patient gets from your site to their first appointment. I'll tell you on the call what I'd change first.
